Vertex Resource Group Ltd. offers a modern, company owned and maintained, fleet of haulers, vacuum, hydro-vac, pressure, water, steam trucks, chemical units and industrial cleaning equipment, capable of meeting all drilling, production, turnaround, plant and completion needs of our clients.
Vertex is currently accepting applications for a Lease Operator (US Operations) in North Dakota, United States. This position will be responsible for hauling Butane, Propane and NGL within North Dakota, US and will be dispatched out of Alida, Saskatchewan, Canada. The successful candidate must have experience hauling fluids with tanks trucks. Fast Card is required for hauling dangerous goods across border if a Canadian Citizen. We will also consider US Citizens that are able to cross the border with dangerous goods.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class 1 driver license with a clean driver abstract
- Owned tractor with preferably both Product Pump and Hydraulic System
- Valid Class 1 drivers’ license and a clean driver abstract
- Preferably residing in Bakken Region
- Able to cross into Canada and must have FAST Card for easy access in the border
- Experience driving tank trucks (Propane and Butane hauling) desired
- Must possess the following safety tickets, but not limited to; First Aid/CPR, Construction Safety Training (CSTS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and H2S Alive
- Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
- Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
- Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
- Available to accept after hour calls when requested
- Strong reliability and integrity
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate around the States of North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota and South Dakota USA
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo; adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of company equipment.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures, Health and Safety procedures, Department of Transportation and Hazardous Materials/Waste requirements and regulations.
- Complete daily scheduled deliveries and services in a timely manner.
- Highest attention towards customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent service always.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, dispatch and trip reports, demurrage and time sheets.
- Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules.
- Perform pre and post trip inspections, follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to Supervisor.
- Safely observe all company operating guidelines and procedures.
- Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
LOCATION
- This position will be based out of Alida, Saskatchewan.

- Can use own plate or Vertex plate and insurance
