Position Summary
Lotus Creek is a Canadian exploration and production company with oil production in Central Alberta and exploration assets in Tucker Lake. On February 5, 2025, Lotus Creek, Gear Energy Ltd. and a third-party closed the previously announced transformative plan of arrangement and the Company commenced commercial operations on close of the plan of arrangement. Our objective is to be the fastest growing, fully funded, public junior oil and gas company in Canada. We will measure shareholder value creation by profitable growth in earnings, cashflow, production and producing reserves per debt adjusted share.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor flowing / pumping oil, gas, water injection wells, and related equipment
- Inspect and adjust assigned wells
- Identify hazards and complete subsequent reporting and corrective actions
- Optimize and troubleshoot daily well production
- Provide routine maintenance on assets to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Facilitate the daily production input and balancing of well data
- Optimize production by proposing innovative strategies on how to improve well productivity
- Test the measurement of gas, condensate / oil, and water production on a daily basis
- Experience with Pump off controllers
- Shooting fluid levels
Qualifications
- Minimum of Five years of relevant industry experience as an Operator
- Formal operational and safety training including: First Aid / CPR, H2S Alive, TDG / WHMIS, and knowledge of well and battery operations
- Proven and demonstrated commitment to HSE expectations and requirements
- Software experience in field data capture (Prodman), and electronic flow measurement systems
- Proven success in the ability to be flexible and adapt to change
- Experience with Muddy Boots would be an asset
- Must reside within a maximum of 100 km of the Wilson Creek area
Location and other Key Details
- You will work at our Wilson Creek area operations site
- The shift schedule is 8×6 (10 hours / day; Wednesday to Wednesday)
- This position is safety sensitive
- This is a contractor role
- Contract hourly range: $70.00 – $82.00
