POSITION SUMMARY Field Administrators provide administrative support for hiring, payroll, document control, purchasing, and health and safety in a Strike field office and are the first point-of-contact at Strike’s various construction project locations and present a positive and professional image of Strike to all clients, suppliers, associates, callers, and office visitors. Field Administrators maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality in all interactions. Employees are expected to support and participate in a “culture of safety” and adhere to and be ambassadors of Strike’s Code of Conduct and Values, and to treat others with dignity, respect, and fairness. Note: This posting will be used to collect applications to fill current openings as well as anticipated future openings. Future openings are anticipated but not guaranteed. POSITION DETAILS
- Candidates local to High Level preferred
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Represent Strike in person, on the phone, and through electronic communications
- Assist with on-site orientation distribution
- Create detailed on-site time tickets for approval by supervisor and clients
- Control and distribute incoming and outgoing documentation on a continual basis
- Issue purchase orders, track incoming invoices, and ensure alignment with project costs
- Assist with HSE and quality control functions as business activity level demands additional coverage
QUALIFICATIONS Experience
- 1-2 years of administrative experience an asset
- Experience with document control
- Industrial/energy industry experience an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Must be willing to travel to site
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Possess a problem solving and critical thinking attitude
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
