Barrel Oil Corp is currently seeking a Production Field Administrator.
Working closely with the Barrel Field Operations team, this role is integral to the success of our organization. This role will assist in all areas of production and general accounting duties in coordination with office administration functions. This position is available in Drayton Valley, Taber, or Calgary, and the ideal candidate should be in one of these regions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with processing of invoices.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders for accounts payable requests.
- Preparing monthly reports for tracking costs and schedule meetings to discuss results.
- Assist with budget preparation and completion.
- Fleet Management supporting employees and monthly costs.
- Provide daily administrative support for the Management Team.
- Oversee and manage all administrative tasks related to oil and gas production including scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the production team to develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, environmental policies, and procedures.
- Maintain operator competency (CMDS) system and provide reports for tracking.
- Work closely with the human resources department to coordinate staffing and training needs for production personnel.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant, or relevant role.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat with the capability to learn new applications quickly.
- High School diploma and Office Admin certificate preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail orientated.
- Highly organized and able to multitask.
- Critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a self-starter and team player.
