What will you do?
- Actively participate in construction planning, estimating, and execution
- Manage craft, subcontractors, and all other resources as a general contractor
- Help us build a competitive and sustainable team
- Demonstrate safety leadership
- Ensure the workforce has the required capabilities and certifications
- Ensure field installation work packages are developed and clear
- Ensure equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with our standards and practices
- Direct and coordinate multiple projects and teams
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve conflicts and issues, and communicate changes to stakeholders and customers
What will you bring?
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as superintendent in the infrastructure, mining, or energy sector
- Minimum 10 years’ construction experience
- Journeyperson trade certification or diploma/degree in construction management/engineering
- Estimating experience is considered an asset
- Experience leading an annual portfolio of projects valued at $5M+
- Solid understanding of construction methods and blueprint reading
- Superior leadership skills
- Developed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Capable of working independently with minimal direction
- Reside in or around the Saskatoon area
- Ability to travel and work on project sites across Saskatchewan
