Responsibilities
- Execute and support the timely close out of a billion-dollar shaft sinking agreement including the development of executive level summary lessons learned, archiving.
- Executes and support contracts management and administration process including but not limited to progress monitoring, changes, claims, formal communications performance management. This includes interfaces with Supply Category Management and Purchasing sub functions.
- Communicates the process for contracts management and administration with stakeholders.
- Archives and stores commercial documents, i.e. formal correspondence with a contractor at all stages of the contract lifecycle.
- Supports risk and quality management plans to assure effective management of the program’s Contracts scope of work.
- Identifies and implements improvement initiatives, including programmatic opportunities for increased capital efficiency and productivity in the function.
- Provides data to Project Services for project reporting & control.
- Validates contract owner’s adherence to Contracting procedures while monitoring progress and cost according to contractual terms.
- Identifies schedule requirements for the contracting work, for inclusion in the project schedule.
- Inspection of subcontractor operations to ensure compliance with Contract and determine non-compliance where applicable.
- Provides input for construction schedule, subcontractor progress and materials delivery.
- Prepares and submits Daily Reports including work in-place quantities.
- Assist in preparation of monthly owner project status reports, as required.
