POSITION SUMMARY Strike’s Electrical Project Coordinator provides administrative project management. The coordinator is responsible for overseeing cost activities, document control and estimating on construction projects of all sizes. The project coordinator analyzes and forecasts project costs and provides detailed project information related to contractual schedule, scope and cost, recommending improvements or corrective actions for the project. POSITION LOCATION
- This position will be based out of our Bonnyville office, with occasional travel to site or other Strike office locations in Alberta for training required
- Candidates local to Bonnyville/Cold Lake preferred
- Relocation assistance available to qualified candidates
- This is a full-time, permanent position with a January 2024 start date
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Misc. Purchasing – coordinated with Superintendent.
- Material receiving and inventory
- Tracking of installed quantities & timesheets
- Documenting QA/QC compliance & managing turnover packages
- Marking up drawings with As-Built changes
- Change order research and takeoffs
- Assisting in project scheduling
- QA/QC (ITP development)
- Document Control
QUALIFICATIONS Education
- Applicants must be a certified Journeyperson Electrician or Instrumentation Technician
Experience
- Applicants must have industrial construction experience
- Supervisory and quality control experience is an asset but not required
- Bluebeam Revu experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Must be willing to travel for work and training
- Must possess a valid non-GDL class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
- Exemplary professional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Meticulous record-keeping skills
- Capable of working independently with minimal direction
- Possesses an eye for detail
- Proactively seeks and accomplishes tasks that lead to a safe, efficient, and productive work environment
