POSITION SUMMARY The primary function of the Foreperson is to provide direction, on-floor leadership and continuous improvement of the production processes, procedures, and equipment. A Strike Crew Foreperson provides leadership and scheduling, and coordinates, supervises and ensures the safety and productivity of their assigned labourer. Note: This posting will be used to collect applications to fill current openings as well as anticipated future openings. Future openings are anticipated but not guaranteed. PROJECT DETAILS

SCOPE OF WORK
- Integrity digs
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Operate 2-5 ton picker trucks, telehandlers, skidsteers and AWP
- Participate in daily toolbox Meetings
- Participate in safety/incident investigations and reviews
- Complete Task Hazard Assessments, Drivers Logs, and review Job Site Assessments
- Manage and maintain client relationships
- Apply project procedures, work site policies and collective agreement requirements Ensure quality and inspection of installation
- Complete quality reports and required statistics
- Inform the Superintendent of any out of scope work
- Move equipment and materials between sites
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment for transporting to work locations, following applicable safety securement protocols
- Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervisor
- Maintain all equipment and tools in good and safe working condition and report any findings to lead hand
- Managing and performing general housekeeping and daily clean-up of work area
QUALIFICATIONS Education
- CSTS, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, AWP, First Aid
Experience
- 2 to 3 years of pipeline or facility construction experience as a Crew Truck Foreperson
- 3 to 5 years of pipeline or facility experience as a Labourer
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Capable of setting and managing priorities to meet all deadlines
- Strong coordination skills and organization skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
