Gas Plant Operator – Whitecourt, AB

A major oil and gas company is seeking Coverage Gas Plant Operators to support a busy facility near Whitecourt, Alberta. The successful candidate will work at a modern NGL plant producing ethane, propane, and condensate.

This is a temporary 3–6 month coverage position beginning in April, working a 7/7 rotation with 10-hour day and night shifts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience operating in a natural gas processing facility preferred
• Experience with NGLs and hydrocarbon processing is considered an asset
• Power Engineering certification is considered an asset; 3rd Class not required
• Ability to follow operating procedures and understand piping and process equipment
• Strong processing facility experience is preferred
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Valid safety tickets and clean driving abstract required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
