Industrial Roofers and Wall Cladding

We are looking for Journeyman and Apprentice Ironworkers, Sheetmetal (Building Cladding) & Insulators to join a busy maintenance team.  Reporting to the mechanical lead. Install Standing Seam Roofing.
Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Must pass pre hire drug and alcohol screening
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Abstract
• Building Construction experience

• Remove and install wall MBI insulation and wall cladding.
• Metal roof systems i.e.) standing seam and screw fastened.
• Install insulation roof and wall cladding retrofit assemblies.
• Install, repair, or replace standing seam metal roofs.
• Conventional metal roofing and liner assemblies.
• Install sheet metal flashings.
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
• Install primers, sub grits, flashing and caulking associated with the above noted architectural products.
• Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs.
• Must be punctual, hardworking and safety orientated.
• Pay careful attention to detail and proper installation.
• Abide by OH&S regulations.
• Maintain a clean construction site.
• Ensure safety tickets are up to date.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Careful attention to detail and proper installation.
• The ability to work at heights.
• The ability to operate equipment including skid steer, telehandler, and AWP.
• The ability to operate power tools.

Minimum Required Safety Tickets:

• AWP – MUST HAVE
• Fall Arrest –MUST HAVE
• First Aid (is an asset)

Start Date: IMMMEDIATELY
Work Hours: 10 Hour Shifts O/T after 8 hrs.
Work Schedule: 10 on and 4 off
Maximum Travel Allowance Paid To be discussed during interview.
