Junior QC Person

We are looking for a Junior QC Person to be a part of our busy growing team. The position requires someone with solid people skills, demonstrated leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to perform requested duties with a focus on safety and appropriate precautions.
You will be given the opportunity to work in new industries with a long term possibility.
Qualifications:

• Must pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Class 5 driver’s license with clean drivers abstract.
• A disciplined work ethic and ability to take initiative as well as accept direction.
• Candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required).

Responsibilities:

• Shipping and Receiving – Inventory management – track all necessary paperwork and materials in and out of shop.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams).
• Data entry (Microsoft).
• Ensure proper Weld Mapping and Visual Inspections are complete.
• Must be able to read blueprints, assigned drawings, designs and specifications.
• Competent measuring skills.
• Interpret and implement quality standards.
• Communicate needs between quality control, management and team.
• Develop and recommend preventative activities to conform to Quality Management System.
• Perform multiple tasks.
• Distribute quality control documentation to team.
• Work in both a team and individual environment
