Production Revenue Accountant

Reporting to the Production Accounting Coordinator, we are currently looking to fill the following contract based position:

Production Revenue Accountant (Calgary, Alberta)

Key Responsibilities:

·         Full cycle production and revenue accounting

·         Analysis and processing of revenue, royalties, third party fees, and trucking

·         Providing accurate and timely reports including APMC, SAF/OAF

·         Setup and maintenance of master data in PAS

·         Ensuring compliance with EPAP controls, Land/Royalty contracts, and JV agreements

·         Responding to external royalty, partner, and internal queries

·         Monthly review and reconciliation of accounts receivable

·         Ensuring accurate monthly contract allocations

·         Identifying and implementing process improvements

·         Assisting in special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

·         10+ years of Production/Revenue Accounting experience in the oil & gas industry

·         Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables

·         Experience working with PAS, Prodman, Envision, OpenInvoice, CS Explorer is an asset

·         Excellent communication skills with an ability to build strong working relationships

·         Strong technical understanding of Production Accounting and Joint Venture Accounting

·         Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and excel in a fast-paced, team environment
