Job Description:
MPI Oilfield is looking for an experienced Service Mechanic with a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment and industrial machinery in field/shop environments. Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems while adhering to strict safety standards. Proven ability to work independently, respond to equipment breakdowns efficiently, and deliver high-quality service to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Skills You Bring: Technical knowledge acquired by a journeyman certificate or equivalent industry experience.
Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and engine diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
Effective communication skills with an ability to provide solutions to complex challenges.
Experience conducting equipment inspections and identifying operational deficiencies.
Strong commitment to safety, with proven adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a willingness to mentor and support apprentices and junior team members.
Proven field service and mobile repair experience in remote and demanding work environments.
Experience working in oilfield, construction, or industrial settings considered an asset.
Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Flexible and willing to travel and work extended hours as operational requirements demand.

Requirements: Must have own Service Truck
Journeyman Certificate – Mechanic, Heavy Duty
Valid Oilfield Safety Tickets (CSO, CSTS, H2S Alive, First Aid)
Class 5 (No GDL)
Drivers Abstract
Clean Drug and Alcohol test
