POSITION SUMMARY The Project Coordinator representative’s responsibility is to support all functions of a project from start to finish. Some of the key tasks involve project plan development; crew planning and coordination; subcontractor kickoffs and management; work with project scheduler on schedule updates and associated work plans; change management; and to aid the Project Manager with his/her duties and project responsibilities. The Project Coordinator representative will engage directly with project teams and client’s representatives. POSITION LOCATION
- The successful candidate will be expected to be able to work out of our Airdrie office as well as across project sites across western Canada
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist in project plan development
- Subcontractor management
- Assist in crew and equipment resource loading of projects
- Assist in schedule updating, forecasting scope plan development
- Bi-Weekly / Monthly Project reporting for Management/Client review
- Support crews with Change Management requirements
- Development of Field Installation Work Packages (FIWP)
QUALIFICATIONS Education
- A degree in engineering, a technical diploma, or a trade certification is required
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years in a facility construction and planning
- Project Management experience preferred
- Technically strong in project planning, scheduling, and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol pre-employment screening
- Ability to write out reports in Microsoft Word
- Strong Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Mature, proactive, resourceful, and hands-on with good initiative
- Independent worker who requires minimal supervision
- Ability to work well under pressure
