ROK Resources is currently looking for a Field Operator in our Kaybob operating area. Reporting to the Area Foreman.
-The Field Operator will be responsible for all aspects of safety and regulatory compliance within your designated area. Performing hazard assessments, safe work permitting, equipment LOTO and all necessary compliance inspections.
-Follow all regulatory standards and the corporation’s health and safety policies.
-Reporting all incidents/near misses.
-Optimization of wells, compressors, runtimes and production volumes.
-Report all breakdowns or defects in the field equipment requiring replacement or repair.
-Coordinating 3rd party services, providing direction and all necessary safe work permits.
The successful candidate will possess the following
-3-5 years experience in Oil and Gas operations, trade tickets are considered and asset. Would consider training the right candidate.
-Capable of working in a team and individual environments.
– Communication, Organization and computer skills required.
-Gas compression, Dehy, Oil Battery, Plunger Lift, Pump Jack, Sweet and Sour production experience required.
-Must have valid safety tickets, H2S, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, Ground Disturbance level 2, Confined space awareness and ICS 100.
-Contract position, 8/6 schedule.
-Be available for Over time and callouts.
-Camp and fuel provided while on shift.
