Responsibilities
- Work directly with Project Managers, Consultants, Owner and/or Representatives
- Planning and allocating resources, and coordinating people and equipment
- Coordinate and manage sub-trades and own forces on site to achieve the schedule and budget
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Supervising multiple crews and associated contract works to obtain great quality workmanship, efficiency, communication, commitment, and teamwork
- Conduct onsite meetings with trades and maintain daily construction log
- Quality Control, bringing to the attention of those who need to know any aspect of the job that needs resolution, correction, or further direction as soon as possible
- Ensuring that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
- Conduct on-site safety orientation and maintain daily safety reports
- Review with the Project Manager the schedule/budget and made the necessary changes, as needed, to stay on schedule and budget throughout the project
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specification
- Running a clean, organized site
- Other duties as necessary
