PCC is looking for a student to join our Corporate Administration Team.
Reporting to the Lead, Administration, you will support the Corporate Administration team by providing professional, efficient, and effective administrative support. Additional support will be provided to other corporate areas as required. This position is based out of our Calgary head office and is a four-month term starting May 2025. Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.
Accountabilities:
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Provide back-up coverage to corporate reception
- Assist reception to maintain inventory check of stationary room, courier
- Provide back-up support to Corporate Admin team members to ensure efficient support of administrative requests
- Collaborate with the Corporate Administrative team to ensure efficient resolution of administrative issues
- Assist with document routing
- Prepare, edit, and track correspondence and presentations upon request
- Prepare meetings and draft meeting minutes upon request
- Assist in organizing corporate events, team-building activities, and training sessions
- Assist with tracking event costs and budget
- Assist with various research projects upon request
- Provide other administrative support as identified by the Lead, Administration
Qualifications:
- Completion of 2nd year towards a B.A. (English, Administration, Management, or similar)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Previous Adobe PDF and SAP experience an asset
- Ability to manage confidential materials in an appropriate manner
- Conducts themselves in a professional manner, ensuring confidentiality in all dealings
- Excellent time management and scheduling skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team with a positive attitude
- Confident, detail orientated and enthusiastic team player
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and analytical skills
