Job Title: Production and Revenue Accountant (Contractor) – RQ 23-48

TAQA North is seeking a Production and Revenue Accountant to join the team. You will report to the Supervisor, Production and Revenue Accounting and be responsible for monthly tasks including production, revenue and royalty accounting for operated and non-operated properties.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain monthly data in PAS to ensure all current PA requirements on the desk are met
- Execution of basic PAS maintenance which includes well, facility, royalty contracts and sales contracts
- Gather, analyze, and calculate volumetric data
- Calculate product allocations and sales splits
- Communicate volumetric and allocation results to third parties
- Meet reporting deadlines for submissions to regulatory bodies and other external agencies
- Calculate and book monthly revenues, royalties and processing fees
- Review purchaser statements and reconcile accounts receivable
- Ensure compliance with EPAP controls, Joint Venture agreements and Land/Royalty contracts
- Resolve JIBLink disputes
- Complete analysis and processing of required amendments in a timely manner
- Manage non operated TIK properties
- Assist with special projects where needed
- Build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years operated production accounting experience
- CAPPA certification
- Experience with the following applications preferred:
- PAS, Petrinex, MS Excel, Qbyte FM, Avocet, CS Explorer, Petrotranz, JIBLink, Prodview
- Knowledge of Alberta operated and non-operated properties (all products).
- Understand processing fees and JV agreements
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn and execute the role independently within a dynamic team environment
