TAQA North is currently searching for an eager new graduate for the role of Marketing Analyst. Reporting to the Manager of the Marketing team, you will support the Marketing department in a junior capacity in various ways.  As the Market Analyst you will get exposure to all aspects of oil and gas marketing while providing support to the Marketing Representatives and desk coverage for the Marketing Accounting function.

This position is based out of the Calgary office located downtown.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract administration and maintenance of marketing records
• Prepare and maintain production forecasts
• Evaluate physical gas flows and make recommendations on associated transportation
• Track transportation related expenses
• Assist in revenue verification
• Maintain and analyze daily/monthly pricing spreadsheets
• Update and maintain internal reports
• Provide analytics to support decision making
• Communicate with the field, pipelines, truckers, operations, asset teams and production accounting  

Qualifications:

• You are a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Commerce, Business Degree or equivalent
• You may have some Oil and Gas industry experience which would be an asset
• Positive attitude to learn
• Strong business acumen with superior analytical skills & high attention to detail
• Team Player
