Teine Energy Ltd has an immediate position opening for a full-time Field Competency Trainer for the Chauvin, AB and Kindersley, SK Area. The successful applicant will report directly to the HSE Field Manager. Duties
- Coordinate, administer and update Competency program.
- Work with teams to develop and maintain Competencies, Procedures and Policies as required.
- Mentor and train new and young workers.
- Monitor and develop mobile forms submissions for Leading Indicators, Incident Reporting and Safety Checklists.
- Provide Operations, Drilling, Completion and Construction teams with guidance on health and safety regulations.
- Provide monthly reports to Production, Drilling, Construction and Completions teams.
- Assist teams in incident investigations.
- Support HSE team with development of Monthly Safety meetings.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oilfield/Safety industry.
- A valid driver’s license is required as extensive travel around the Chauvin and Kindersley area is involved.
- Work schedule consists of 5 days on and 2 days off.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Highly organized and skilled in multitasking.
- Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and capable of working independently.
- Excellent technical writing skills are a must.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, are essential.
