Teine Energy is seeking a dedicated Field Safety Advisor to join our team in the Drayton Valley/Edson area. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Safety Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe and compliant operations across our field sites.
Responsibilities:
- Actively engage with Drilling and Completions teams at high-activity sites to address safety concerns in real time, fostering open communication and collaboration to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors by attending regular meetings, conducting audits, and participating in on-site inspections.
- Ensure all work adheres to internal policies, procedures, and recognized engineering best practices.
Provide expert guidance on health and safety regulations to Drilling, Completion, Construction, and Operations teams. - Lead safety meetings and on-site inspections, ensuring compliance, evaluating performance, implementing corrective actions, and conducting follow-up assessments.
- Assess current safety and compliance practices, identify areas for improvement, and assist in developing and implementing targeted training programs to enhance team knowledge and skills.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Drilling and Completions, with extensive involvement in large-scale hydraulic fracturing operations and managing multiple concurrent activities.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment. - Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driver abstract, with the role requiring extensive travel in the Edson/Drayton Valley region.
- Availability to work a schedule of 5 days on, 2 days off, with on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
- Flexibility to work overtime is needed to support high-activity operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
- The candidate must be familiar with and reside in the Drayton Valley / Edson area.
