Terminis Downhole Services is a full-service downhole abandonment company providing corporate liability assessments, abandonment programming, project management of client abandonment programs, regulatory submissions and wellsite supervision.
As leaders in coiled tubing abandonments, we have two Coiled Tubing Units which are paired with a Hot Oiler or a 3 x 5 Fluid Pumper and a complete line of Downhole Tools. With our head office in Calgary and field offices in Camrose AB and Fort St. John BC, we have a highly successful track record with a variety of clients and are currently recruiting for an:
Integrated – Coil Tubing Supervisor
This is a field position based out of Camrose, Alberta and will report to the Field Operations Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Operate, understand and comply with all standard operating policies and procedures while utilizing our equipment for abandonment operations.
Complete general maintenance for all coil tubing units, fluid pumpers and field equipment.
· Report to and work with on-call personnel to schedule various job deployments and maintenance requirements for the equipment.
· Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards as well as customer safety and transportation standards.
· Accurately complete daily reports and participate in company safety systems. Ensure the submission of crew paperwork, tickets, timesheets and logbooks to be on time and correct.
· Assist and mentor other operators as required.
Requirements include:
Experience in driving, operating and maintaining a coil tubing unit is mandatory. Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with fluid pumping, downhole tool and wellsite supervision experience.
Valid Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License
Hold and maintain valid safety tickets – Well Service BOP, Coiled Tubing BOP, Fall Protection, Wellhead Boom Truck or Picker Ticket, H2S, First Aid, TDG, Ground Disturbance, WHMIS, and ESO or an equivalent. Safety Leadership, Detection and Control of Flammable Gasses and Ground Disturbance Level II are an asset.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, deal with pressure, meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with eagerness and safety at the forefront of your priorities.
* Please note this is a long-term contract role. Candidates can expect a mix of camp / hotel field work as well as day jobs from Terminis’ bases. Compensation will be determined based on experience / skill sets.
