POSITION SUMMARY POSITION SUMMARY   The Turnover Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining quality assurance documentation consisting of data packages, various testing packages (Hydro Packs, NDE etc.), technical specifications, purchase orders and other project-required documents as related to Quality Assurance.   Employees are expected to support and participate in a “culture of safety”, adhere to and be ambassadors of Strike’s Code of Conduct and Values, act professional and amicable, and to treat others with dignity, respect, and fairness.    POSITION DETAILS

  • Office Based Shop/ Module Yard work
  • 40- 50 hrs/week
  • Shop Location Crossfield, Alberta

  CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Updates and maintains document control record keeping system
  • Distributes data as directed. Interfaces with various clients, staff and subcontractors to meet project demands and assist in providing requested data packages
  • Under direct supervision, performs routine assignments
  • Develops core competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems
  • The position coordinates the activities of the turnover and document control group, document control clerk, and data input
  • Ensures that the turnover processes as required and are followed and contract deliverables are supplied on schedule and client interface
  • Audits and attests support, both internally and externally to the turnover and document control group
  • Maintain, control & oversee all document control records and overall document control department
  • Ensures that there is an efficient system in place for exchange of turnover information between the quality control, quality assurance leads, discipline coordinators, technical coordinators, QC inspectors, data input, and document control
  • Liaison with Leads, Construction Managers & Project Managers for development of systems and procedures as required
  • Ensures that the turnover and document control processes are used on the project will facilitate a smooth transaction of engineering/construction documents into the project and construction generated turnover documents back out to the client
  • Plan and conduct audits for both internally and externally to the turnover and document control group

QUALIFICATIONS Education 

  • High School diploma, post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree from an accredited technical school, college or university
  • CWB Level 1 preferred

Experience

  • Minimum two years in oil and gas industry
  • Minimum two years’ experience in quality assurance functions

Knowledge & Skills

  • Working knowledge of ABSA, CSA, and ASME standards and applicable Provincial Safety Codes Act and Regulatory requirements for the construction of oil and gas pressure regulated products
  • Proficient with Acorn Piping Software
  • Proficient in operational requirements for quality management systems and controlled manuals
  • Basic understanding of process development methods in oil and gas, specifically regarding quality control and assurance
  • Rudimentary experience with quality audits and hosting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adept at document management systems and tracking software
  • Developed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of participating in and facilitating group meetings
  • Exemplary professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Meticulous record-keeping skills
  • Capable of working independently with minimal direction
  • Possesses an eye for detail
  • Proactively seeks and accomplishes tasks that lead to a safe, efficient, and productive work environment
