COILED TUBING FLUID SUPERVISOR – (RDC)

COILED TUBING FLUID SUPERVISOR – RED DEER (RDC)

The Coiled Tubing Fluid Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of various coiled tubing operations in the field. Supervisors are also responsible for the supervision and safety of personnel and equipment at all times, whether on a customer’s location or between locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Trican’s core value, “Safe equipment and operations” is the priority in all activities
  • Operate various large duty trucks over outdoor terrain and through all weather conditions
  • Participates in the investigation of incidents
  • Perform pre-and post trip inspections and accurately fill out all required forms
  • Attends pre-job safety meetings on location
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication with colleagues
  • Inspects and properly configures all equipment
  • Perform rig-up (assembly) and rig out (disassembly) of all equipment for travel
  • Perform maintenance operations to units and auxiliary equipment
  • Confers with supervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies
  • Ensure all Workplace Safety, Environmental and National Safety Code Policies and Regulation are followed

Experience & Skills:

  • Valid Class 1 driver’s licence is required
  • Pressure pumping experience is preferred
  • High school diploma is an asset
  • Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
  • Physically demanding, heavy lifting required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Description

MPI Oilfield is looking for Journeyman and 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technicians/Mechanics to join our Shop team!  This is a role for someone who is independent, solution focused, able to work well with people and can ensure work is completed in a safe and timely manner.

 

Skills You Bring:

·         General knowledge of heavy trucks, trailers, excavators, other heavy equipment, and light fleet vehicles.

·         Preventative maintenance: inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, repair or replace defective parts, components or systems.

·         Expertise in adjusting equipment and repairs or replacement of defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools.

·         Experience in completing CVIP Inspections.

·         Know-how to test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications.

·         Thorough knowledge in cleaning, lubrication and other routine maintenance work on equipment.

·         Strong compliance and adherence to safety standards and protocols.

·         Capable of working alone and as a part of a team, with minimal supervision.

·         Proficiency in keeping up to date with changes in technology and knowledge for the job.

·         Advanced electrical diagnostic skills and thorough knowledge of hydraulic systems an asset.

 

Requirements:

·         Journeyman Certificate (Red Seal if out of Province) OR 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice, depending on experience

·         Own transportation to the Shop

·         Construction Safety Orientation

·         Clean Drug and Alcohol test

Job Description:
MPI is currently looking for an Accounts Payable/Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team! This is a fulltime, permanent opportunity in a fast paced, collaborative office environment.

Skills you Bring:
• Ability to manage compensation packages using payroll software
• Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees
• Track subcontractor time and reconcile invoices for payment
• Calculate pay according to hours worked, matching timesheets to work tickets, overtime etc.
• Manage and calculate taxes, deductions, benefits and holiday pay
• Issue statements, invoices and maintain records including apprentice information
• Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes, ensuring employee files are up to date etc.
• Calculate unemployment and severance payments
• Prepare ROE’s and garnishment files
• Deal with questions and issues regarding payroll from employees and upper management
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll
• Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to supervisor
• Support office administration with filing, invoicing, organization and other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Willing to train the right candidate
• Experience in accounts payable/payroll, QuickBooks considered an asset
• Familiarity with general accounting principles
• Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and regulations
• Computer savvy with proficient math and numerical skills
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving
• High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in accounting/business administration is a plus

MPI Oilfield is looking for an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Tech or Shop Labourer to join our Shop team! This is a role for someone who is independent, solution focused, able to work well with people and can follow direction to complete work in a safe and timely manner.

 

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
Assist with performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely to complete repairs efficiently
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment during heavy lifting and equipment operation
Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals for proper maintenance procedures
Assist with the installation of new equipment and system upgrades
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
Team Player who can assist with a variety of shop tasks, general shop maintenance and clean up.
 

Skills you bring:

Mechanically inclined
Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
Experience reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes
Capable of performing heavy lifting safely and working in physically demanding environments
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Prior experience working with industrial equipment or as a mechanic is preferred
Valid certifications related to heavy machinery operation or electrical work are a plus

Requirements:

Previous work experience or education in a mechanical field considered an asset.
Class 5 drive license, No GDL an asset
Own transportation to the Shop
Construction Safety Orientation
Clean Drug and Alcohol test
